Company Mission

The mission of ACQUAGeo Service is to provide drillers and geologists with the best services and products, offering prestigious brands at exclusive prices. Customer satisfaction and the quality of the service provided are of primary importance in a relationship of mutual trust.

The exclusivity of the brands offered and the prompt delivery of products qualify it as the flagship of the sector.

Our Story

ACQUAGeo Service was founded in January 2011, the result of the enterprise of Juska Cudia, who decided to establish the company during a time of economic crisis. After several years of experience in the sector alongside his mentor Stefano Callori of Azienda Elettrica Milly, which still boasts this prestigious partnership, he felt it was time to embark on this venture created to provide drillers and geologists with the best services: from electromechanics to thermohydraulics, well drilling, and geotechnics, offering a wide range of products and services at competitive prices.

ACQUAGeo Service continues to grow steadily, expanding its range of services and products offered.

2" GRUNDFOS MP1 Sampling Pump

Weekly/monthly sales and rental - immediate availability

2" GRUNDFOS MP1 Sampling Pump

The MP 1 is a 2" submersible pump with electric drive, suitable for the purging and sampling of contaminated/polluted groundwater. The pump is powered by an adjustable converter BMI/MP 1 with a frequency ranging from 50 to 400 Hz, corresponding to a maximum pumping speed of 23,000 min⁻¹ and nominal performance of 1 m³/h at a head of 90 m.

Pumped liquids

Contaminated/polluted groundwater, that is, non-explosive fluid liquids, free of abrasive particles or fibres.

Liquid temperature: from 0°C to +35°C during operation.

Maximum sand content: 50 g/m³.

A higher sand content will significantly reduce the lifespan of the service parts.

Note

The MP 1 pump is not suitable for pumping concentrated hydrocarbons, chemicals, or explosive liquids.

As the pump is not explosion-proof, consult local authorities and regulations if in doubt about using the MP 1 pump.

If the density or kinematic viscosity is greater than that of water, a higher input current than the nominal one is required, and the maximum speed should therefore be reduced.

Overload protection

As the motor and converter have overload protection, it is possible to determine the maximum power at which this protection does not cause tripping by trial and error.

Restarting the pump after tripping requires resetting the converter on the start/stop switch located on the front cover of the converter.

Applications

The MP 1 is designed for pumping contaminated groundwater for the following purposes

• purging

• sampling

• monitoring water quality

The MP 1 has been specifically designed for sampling, which involves pumping small quantities of water for laboratory analysis to determine

• the content of contaminants

• the concentration of contaminants

• the extent of the contamination plume

The MP 1 pump is made from inert materials that do not alter the pumped liquid and, consequently, the results of the analyses.

The performance of the pump is regulated via the converter, which controls the speed of the pump through frequency. This enables a stable water flow free of air to be achieved.

The MP 1 ensures efficient purging of the well before sampling since high pump performance is reached with increasing frequency. The maximum performance is at 400 Hz.

However, the pump must not pump more water than the well can supply. Otherwise, the groundwater level may drop below the suction connector, causing air to be drawn into the pump. In addition to reducing motor cooling, this situation can damage the pump.

To avoid potential cross-contamination, that is, the transfer of contaminants from one well to another, a dedicated pump installation is recommended.

This allows the technician responsible for sampling to save valuable time, as they can quickly disconnect the converter and proceed with the subsequent installation of the MP 1. The submerged descent cable is connected to the converter via a plug connection that allows for tool-free disconnection.

PVC cataloguing cassettes

In the world of geology, water analysis, and drilling, the organisation and protection of samples and instruments are essential. PVC cataloguing cassettes offer a practical and durable solution for storing and transporting valuable and sensitive materials, even in challenging conditions such as extreme temperatures and mechanical stress. PVC is a material that resists moisture, dust, and chemicals.

PVC cataloguing cassettes are available in various sizes and configurations, with compartments and internal dividers that allow for the orderly organisation of samples, tools, and equipment, making them easily accessible. They are also lightweight and easy to transport and can be easily cleaned and decontaminated, an important aspect for water analysts who need to avoid cross-contamination of samples.

PVC wellhead

The PVC well heads represent a crucial component in drilling systems and groundwater management. Thanks to their robustness, resistance to corrosion, and ease of installation, these heads have become a popular choice among industry professionals, including geologists, environmental engineers, and drillers.

Used to protect and manage water wells, they ensure that the water remains clean and safe for human consumption and agricultural use.

Essential for environmental monitoring installations, these heads protect the sensors and instruments used to detect contamination and monitor water quality.

Used in geothermal energy systems, they help maintain the efficiency and safety of geothermal wells.

Well heads are crucial for industrial and agricultural applications where reliable management of water resources is required.
